Color Theory is a collaboration of organizations referred to as the “Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.” Our work is designed to empower low-income, Spanish-speaking, immigrant and Native American individuals, and their families, to create wealth through entrepreneurship.
We accomplish this by offering resources such as training, coaching, low-cost loans, legal guidance, and access to office space/equipment to our clients.
Color Theory partners work together to connect clients in underinvested communities to these resources. Clients enjoy increased support in building their businesses resulting in economic equity and community reinvestment.
Color Theory leadership is distributed among representatives of member organizations such as:
- La Plaza de Encuentro Gathering Place (Encuentro)
- New Mexico Dream Team
- New Mexico Immigrant Law Center (NMILC)
- Rio Grande Community Development Corporation (fiscal sponsor)
- Siembra Leadership High School
- South Valley Economic Development Center (SVEDC)
- Women’s Economic Self-sufficient Team (WESST)
